First, you’ll meet with Dr. Kevin or Dr. Blum to discuss your options for restorative care and determine if a same-day CEREC crown is right for you. Your dentist will examine your teeth, take X-rays, if needed, and ensure that you get a custom-tailored treatment plan that’s perfect for your needs.

CEREC crown preparation

If you’re approved for a CEREC crown, the next step is to prepare your tooth. Depending on the situation, this may be done on the same day as your initial consultation or during a separate visit. Your dentist at SoBo Dental Care will clean your teeth, numb your mouth, and then remove any damaged or decayed material from your tooth. This shapes it into a strong, stable platform for your new crown.

Designing your same-day crown

Once your tooth has been prepared, your dentist will use an intraoral scanner to create a 3D model of your teeth.
